Wide toe box
Oxford Health advises a broad, rounded toe area so toes can move. Pedibare’s foot-shaped forefoot reflects that principle.
Natural flex
AAP first-shoe guidance recommends comfortable, flexible footwear for outdoor walking. Our supple sole is designed to bend with little steps.
0 mm heel-to-toe drop
Zero drop
Pedibare’s zero-drop sole keeps the heel and forefoot at the same height. A level foundation, with no raised heel.

Too narrow?
Look for room across the toes as well as in front. Oxford Health recommends a wide, rounded toe area. If toes feel crowded, reassess size and width.
Arch support?
Painless, flexible flat feet commonly need no treatment. POSNA explains that special shoes or inserts do not create an arch. Pain, stiffness or persistent concerns deserve an individual assessment.
Barefoot time?
Barefoot play can be appropriate on safe, clean surfaces. Outdoors, shoes offer protection. Choose footwear that is comfortable, flexible and suited to the surface.
How flexible?
AAP first-shoe guidance highlights comfort and flexibility. Pedibare’s flexible sole reflects that principle, bending with little steps.
Growing room?
Measure both feet and use the larger measurement with our Size Guide. AAP advises monthly fit checks during the early walking stage. Allow toe room without choosing a shoe that slips.
Secure fit?
A roomy toe box and a secure fit can go together. Adjust the closure so the shoe stays on comfortably; recheck the size if the foot slides around.
