Before walking, babies usually don’t need shoes; barefoot time on a safe, comfortable surface is enough. Once your child is walking, light, flexible shoes help protect their feet outdoors.

Measure both feet and use the longer foot’s actual length in our Size Guide. If it falls between two listed foot lengths, choose the next listed size. Growing room is already included, so don’t add extra length or another size.

Try both shoes indoors with the socks your child will usually wear. Check for toe space, a secure heel and comfortable movement; slipping, pressure or rubbing are signs to reassess the fit.

I love these for our toddler. These are the 2nd pair we've bought as she's grown and sized up. They are light and flexible and never come off by themselves! I even removed the insole to give her extra room until we bought the next size up.My only 2 "issues" with these shoes are that (1) they are not as breathable as I first thought they might be. Not a big deal, but for the summer I should have used sandals more. (2) The knots at the end of the laces tighten and then pull through the loops, so I have learned to tie beads into the ends from the get-go.Other than those couple little things, these are amazing shoes - wide, soft, light, flexible, barefoot!

Love these! They’re super cute and lightweight, and very flexible. They’re easy to put on and they seem really comfortable! Perfect for summer! A great option if you’re trying to avoid heavy, clunky, stiff baby shoes. They offer great traction too. Our toddler is 16 months and walking lots and I’m very pleased with the performance of these.

Good comfortable shoes. Just make sure you measure their feet because their sizing is a little different. My son had just started to outgrow his size 7 cat and jack sneakers but with this brand we had to go with a 9 but the measurements they have listed are accurate. These really are great, my sons feet don’t get as sweaty and they’re lightweight so he’s not stomping around.

My toddler loves these shoes. They are so durable and move with my toddlers feet. The soles are flexible allowing him to walk and run with control and confidence. I did have to order multiple sizes before I found the right fit for him. I will definitely buy more colors.

I don't know why they make chunky shoes for toddlers. Whenever my daughter wore them, they'd make her trip and fall. I found these, and she walks and runs in them like a dream!

Absolutely love these shoes! My favorite part is the wide toe box and how flexible the sole is. They feel like a really physio-friendly pair of shoes, but they're still easy to get on. My kid can't put them on by themselves yet, but as a parent, it only takes me a second. I've already ordered 2 sizes (7 and 8) and I'm still obsessed.One thing to note though: I find they run small. My kid wears an 8 from them and I ordered a size 8 pair of clogs from Cat & Jack and they were too big.

We love these shoes but I wish they came in more colors, I was hoping for a camel or a caramel color that wouldn’t show the dirt so easily. But they are a great price, true barefoot shoes, and they look adorable. Fit my one year old perfectly.

The sole is very similar to Vivobarefoot’s—grippy, flexible, and nicely textured.I also love that the price is reasonable for shoes kids will likely outgrow in just a few months. They’re comfortable, well-made, and look great. I liked them so much that I came back to order the next size up.

Great shoe for the price. The sole is very flexible, they hold the foot in well, easy to get on, and a big toe box.I like the solid colors and the more grown-up neutral look. I wish they had a solid navy blue option and maybe some options without a white sole.

I love these shoes for my daughter! We’ve had them for a few months ago and they’re so durable! They look basically brand new even with daily wear and use. I like that they have a wide toe box and that they give a lot of room without being difficult to walk in. I’ll definitely be buying this model again when she out grows the ones she’s wearing now.
